Apparently the relationship between Obama and Brzezinski is controversial, since he felt that he had to lie about it:
September 12, 2007:
"He has proven to be an outstanding friend, and someone I've learnt an immense amount from."
February 24, 2008, Obama spoke to a meeting of jewish leaders:
"He is not one of my key advisers."
"I've had lunch with him once."
"I've exchanged e-mails with him maybe three times."
October 14, 2008:
"And we travel together and we talk and we've been intouch more than that since then... ...and that was early on, that was in september, we met in the summer." - Zbigniew Brzezinski
I can think of several reasons why you would want to pretend you don't know him. In 1997 Brzezinski wrote "The Grand Chessboard". Let's take a look at what he wrote:
That was Michael Ruppert giving a lecture in 2001.
"Today it is infinitely easier to kill a million people than to control a million people... it is easier to kill than to control." he said in a speech to British elites on Nov. 17th at Chatham House (the home of the Royal Institute of International Affairs).
